SU 453 Presents the 9th Annual Dana's Derby
Design and build your very own pinewood race car to race at our council-wide event in Spokane. Everyone is welcome. Girl Scout membership is not required to participate. Invite a friend!
You must purchase your locally made car kits at the Girl Scout store for this race. See flyer for complete rules and regulations.
We can also help you design, cut, shape, and sand at our Pinewood Race Car Garage Day at the Council Program Center on Saturday, September 19, 10:00am - 2:00pm. We will provide instructions on how to add needed weight and mount the wheels and axles at home after paint. See flyer.
Registration and Race Fee Deadline: Monday, September 28
$6 Race Fee includes your registration and custom patch. Payments made by credit card will include a small processing fee. Or you can pay with Cookie Dough and incur no additional fees.

Pinewood Race Car Turn-In and Miss Shifters Car Show at Council Program Center: Friday, October 2, 5:00pm - 8:00pm
Your car must be complete and at correct weight at turn-in. If you cannot make it to Car Turn-In, you can send your car with another girl from your Troop. Or you can contact SU 453 to make special arrangements.
In-Person Race Day at Council Program Center: Saturday, October 3, 10:00am - 1:00pm
Race Day information will be sent after the registration deadline to the emails provided on the completed registration form. If you cannot make it in person to watch the cars race down the track, a link will be provided to watch via Zoom.
