Are you a Girl Scout Troop Leader or Volunteer who's never been camping? Or are you looking to build confidence before taking your troop on their first outdoor adventure? This workshop is designed just for you! Join us for an immersive, hands-on training camp that simulates a real Girl Scout troop camping experience.

Completion of Outdoor Basics 1 Training is required!- A session is offered before the workshop, but you can have taken it any time in the past.

Don't have supplies? Tents and cookout equipment are provided. You will only need to bring personal items such as a sleeping bag, pillow, Girl Scout meal kit, bug spray, sunscreen, and an optional air mattress/sleeping pad.

During this weekend campout, you'll step into the shoes of your future campers as we run the program as if you're part of a Junior-level Girl Scout Troop. You'll practice essential camping skills, such as setting up a tent campsite, preparing classic Girl Scout camp meals, and engaging in beloved Girl Scout traditions. We'll also cover how to adapt activities for different age levels, Daisies/Brownies/Cadette+.

Our experienced instructors, who have experience as troop leaders, will guide you every step of the way. While this camp is no role-playing exercise (we'll leave that to the kids!), you'll get to experience what your girls will as participants.

By the end of this workshop, you'll feel prepared, confident, and ready to create memorable camping experiences with your troop. Don't miss this opportunity to build your skills, connect with other leaders, and have fun under the stars. Sunday is Father's Day, so plan on leaving early morning. Let's turn the great outdoors into your troop's next great adventure!
