Grabbing all Astronomy Club interest! On October 10th NASA is launching the SpaceX Falcon Heavy Europa Clipper, travelling to Jupiter's Europa moon to search for signs of life in it's vast underground ocean. They're not the only ones having fun! We're building our own rockets for launches on October 20th and 27th.
Come out to the Spokane Program Center and build one for yourself as we learn all about Europa, a moon within our solar system that has all the ingredients for life: water, chemistry, and energy! Cost covers the rocket you'll build and launch later in the month. Adult sign-ups are to meet Girl Scout-to-adult ratios and will assist with some program activities.
