Do you have what it takes to climb 2,000 feet? Come hike the Mickinnick Trail just outside Sandpoint, Idaho, with beautiful views of Lake Pend Oreille! For Juniors and Cadettes, this meets one third of your Trail Adventure Badge. Cadettes, look for Part 1 (May 11th) and Part 3 (June 15th), or do them separately with your Troop or Service Unit! For Seniors and Ambassadors, this is perfect training for anyone thinking about signing up for the Ultimate Adventure Challenge or 5-day Backpacking trips in July. Note: this hike is considered to be strenuous, going up 2172 feet in 3.5 miles, with a total distance of 7 miles. Bring a liter water and a couple snacks.
