Learn the basics including outdoor cooking, outdoor skills, safety, planning and more in this blended learning experience. Participants will complete several short, on-line trainings regarding planning, safety & forms via gsLearn. They will then participate in hands-on skills training in the outdoors. Meals will be included. GSEWNI REQUIRES this training for volunteers who wish to take girls camping in the out-of-doors. This does not qualify for more primative camping events (those without running water or flush toilets). This is a pre-requisite class to Outdoor Essentials - Advanced.
