The lnnoverge biology curriculum is intended to provide a comprehensive overview of interesting topics in biological science, seeking to focus on ethical issues in biology, exposing students to bioethical questions that scientists today are still grappling with.

Part 2 (Tuesday August 24th):
Students will learn about the Human Genome Project and the different types of
sequencing, including Next Generation and Third Generation sequencing. Students will watch several videos and engage in interactive exercises related to DNA sequencing, and discuss bioethics!

Virtual: 3:30pm - 4:30pm over ZOOM
OR
In Person: 5:30pm - 6:30pm at the Spokane Program Center

These workshops are meant to be taught in approximate order, as they build upon material from previous workshops. For each workshop, choose whether you will attend virtually OR in-person (you can mix and match if needed, but you must register ahead of time). Workshop #3 (Tuesday August 31st) requires separate registration. Please attend all sessions if you can!
