This Is My Brave National Teen Show - a teen mental health storytelling event
Did you know that 1 in 5 people in this country will face a mental health challenge at some point in their life? And, often, the first challenge arises between the ages of 12-18? This Is My Brave is committed to bringing stories of teen mental illness and addiction out of the shadows and into the spotlight to raise awareness about mental health issues and offer hope. Teens need to know that it is okay to not be okay. Let our Brave teens inspire you with their incredible stories! Show is scheduled to begin at 5:00 PM PT but those interested in participating in a USF research project should join at 4:15 PM PT to take the pre-show survey. Participation in the research project is voluntary and will require signed consent from Girl Scouts 18 or older, or signed parental permission and signed student assent documents for those under 18 years of age. Participation will involve completing a 15-20 minute pre-survey, viewing a 1-hour presentation, completing a 7-10 minute post-survey, and completing a final 7-10 minute 1-month follow-up survey.
