This 2-night backpacking trip will give you advanced tools to have a safe, fun experience while experiencing more of the rugged outdoors. The backpacking certificate is added onto the Outdoor Advanced Training, so you’ll get a 2 for 1 experience!
You can join this trip if you are interested in learning about backpacking. We will start with some backpacking essentials and then head out to some more remote campgrounds on the Martin Scout Ranch. You will hike with a pack, sleep in a tent or under the stars, eat backpacking meals, and learn about backpacking safety.
If you wish to get your Outdoor Essentials - Advanced credential, you must have taken Outdoor Essentials – Basic.
