Girl Scouts is setting out to plant five million trees across the country in five years, and to protect and honor new and existing trees. Not only is this great for wildlife, it will also help ease the effects of climate change. Join The Lands Council and take part in the Girl Scout Tree Promise to plant some trees, and earn the Girl Scout Tree Promise Patch in the Process! Calling all students K-12! The Lands Council is planting trees this April and Girl Scouts can help! Every Thursday in April April 15th at 3:00 pm - come out to our restoration site located between Cheney and Spokane to learn about ecology & get your hands dirty in the soil planting trees! Registration is through The Lands Council and Girl Scout Council staff will be at each event to track Girl Scouts participation! Please note that Lands Council only allows 20 participants each week and they fill up quickly!
