Stream Girls (Science, Technology, Recreation, Engineering, Art, Math) is an experiential outdoor activity designed for girls age 11-16. Participants will get an in depth, hands on experience of a stream from the perspective of a Scientist, and Artist and an Angler. The girls wade in the stream and record in their journals the plants, animals and terrain that makes up the riparian area. Girls will also learn how to tie a fly based on the bugs they found and go fishing with that fly, if water levels are appropriate. Lunch and a patch are included.

*This is a 2 day event, so overnight accommodations are available, by contacting Lani Nachtsheim @ lnachtsheim@gsewni.org.

This is a Girl Scout Event.
