Congratulations to Kaylee Johnson for winning our Billboard Contest!
Kaylee is a second year Daisy in Spokane, WA Troop 6035. She is a Go-Getter Girl Scout. Meet Kaylee...
My name is Kaylee and I’m a go-getter. I have a good imagination and I want to share it with you. Someday I am going to make a lot of books and games. I want to have my own company. I'm a go-getter because of my great imagination that helps me write my books. I use my imagination for inventing fun games for my friends and family and now I turn them into the books. Right now, I'm working on a book called “Kitty’s Awesome Adventures” with my friend Nathan. My plan this summer is to sell 100. My goal is to write maybe 100 or more kinds of books and make at least five or ten copies of each. I will sell them for $5. Some of my money will go to my business to pay for supplies like stencils, more crayons, markers, cool tape, and erasers. With my extra money I will see if I have enough to buy a play house for my sister, brother, and me.
I already started on a book called “Dinosaurs vs. Animals” and “Butterfly and Unicorn Power”. I have been writing books ever since I was four years old. I have been using my imagination from everything I hear, see, and feel. One of my favorite books that I wrote is “The Three Little Ponies.” It is about a game I played with my sister and brother.
When I have my own company and I am grown up, I will hire people to
deliver my hand made books. People will love this because my
imagination is the best thing about me. People will love my books
because my stories are fun, happy, and exciting.
I love being a Girl Scout because it teaches me how to be a go-getter.
