ABOUT THE EVENT: Join us for dinner and networking with other volunteers and staff in a casual setting.

$5/person. Fee waived if attending the 2019 Annual Meeting . Register by April 13, 2019.

Rooms are available at discounted rate for anyone that would like to stay overnight Friday, April 26th at the La Quinta Inn - North Spokane.  When you call into the La Quinta, tell them you would like to book one of the rooms reserved for Girl Scouts/Susan Noble. The price is $117.92 + tax.

ABOUT THE EVENT: Join us for the 2019 Annual Meeting: Unleash Strong! While only delegates are required to attend, we encourage all to come and hear about the council's recent accomplishments and upcoming initiatives. 

$25/person. Includes ticket to 3rd Annual Dinner with Friends. Registration closes April 13th.

ABOUT THE EVENT: Join us for our first annual Training with Friends/Workshops. After feedback from volunteers, we decided to host a series of workshops and trainings for both girls and adults. We hope you'll enjoy what we have planned! Some trainings have costs involved, but most are free of charge. YOU DO NOT NEED TO ATTEND THE ANNUAL MEETING TO REGISTER FOR TRAININGS AND WORKSHOPS. THE EVENT IS OPEN TO EVERYONE.

First Aid Training 

*Main Conference Room* Participants completing the class will be certified for 2 years in First Aid and CPR/AED for Adult, Child and Infant. Must be 14 and older. Space is limited, register early. $35

Troop Parental Involvement Workshop

*Conference Room Annex* Do you need assistance on getting parental involvement in your troop? Come join us for tips and tricks on conducting parent meetings. For adults & volunteers.
Time 1 - 2:30pm

Food Badge Workshop

*Cafe* Join us in learning about the various levels of food badges your Girl Scouts can earn including meal planning, healthy eating, and food presentation. For adults and volunteers. 
Time 1 - 2:30pm

Map and Compass Navigation Basics Training

*Arts & Crafts Room* Learn basic navigation skills presented by REI using a map and compass to find your way. Maps and compasses are provided, but bring your own if you prefer. Ages 11 & up.
Time: 1 - 3pm

Art with Computer Programming Workshop

*Computer Lab* Create SpiroGraph stars and experience the exciting scientific and artistic aspects of computer programming. Learn to draw pictures by typing commands into a computer instead of drawing the picture by hand. For girls 8+, volunteers and adults. $2
Time: 1 - 2pm

Geocaching Workshop

*Riverside State Park-Bowl and Pitcher* Join us for an outdoor recreational activity, in which participants use a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver or mobile device and other navigational techniques to hide and seek containers called "geocaches or "caches" at specific locations marked by coordinates. A Discovery Pass is required for parking at this site. We will be meeting in the lobby and carpooling from the Spokane Council Office. Ages 18 & up.
Time: 1 - 4pm

Escape Game Workshop

*Clubhouse* Have you wondered about the Escape Games? If you like deciphering riddles, cracking codes, unrolling clues and working with a team to solve the mystery, come join us for and escape game experience Belonging to Unicorns. Grades 6-8. Patch is included in price. $12.50
Time: 1 - 3pm

Journey Through the Solar System Workshop

*Gym 1* Travel the Cosmos and learn about the science and beauty of celestial objects in our solar system, galaxy, and the universe. Giveaways include NASA stickers, bookmarks, postcards, lithographs, posters, and information. Girls 8-18, adults and volunteers. $3.
Time: 2 - 4pm

Miss Detective-Crime Scene Edition

*Gym 2* Get engaged with hands-on activities as you learn about broken glass with jigsaw puzzles, teeth impressions, hair and fabric samples, DNA, and fingerprints. Try to solve a crime scence by looking at the clues left behind. Juniors and up. $4.

Outdoor Ethics Basics Workshop

*Arts & Crafts Room* Presented by REI. Good planning is living the experience in advance. Learn about how we can protect future generations by maintaining our resources. All ages. 
Time: 3 - 4pm

What Knot to do Camping Training

*Arts & Crafts Room* Have you wondered which knots to use while camping? Join us for this basic knot-tying course presented by REI by learning the 5 essential outdoor knots. Ages 12 & up.
Time: 4 - 5pm

Confab Gathering

*Main Conference Room* Are you interested in leading a training or workshop? Please join other trainers, facilitators and workshop leaders as they spend the evening networking, getting council updates, and brainstorming upcoming training ideas. Dinner is included. For adults and volunteers.
