Journey in a Weekend Cadette Journey "Breathe"
This is a chance for troops to earn a Girl Scout Journey and enjoy a weekend at camp at the same time! Maybe you’re passionate about the topic or maybe you’re ready to get started on a higher award. Either way, you’re bound to have a great time. By the end of the weekend, you will complete all but one of the requirements to earn this Journey and have a solid plan for your Take Action project to complete after you get home. This is a great opportunity for troops that are new to the Girl Scout Journeys or who would like to work on a Journey with other girls. Each troop is required to have appropriate girl:adult ratios. Individual girls who would like to attend this event must be accompanied by an adult with current Girl Scout membership and background check on file. Adults will be expected to assist and support the activities throughout the weekend. Meals, award patches and program supplies for the weekend will all be supplied. The Take Action project and required materials for that project are the responsibility of the troop or girl. Cadette Journey “Breathe” April 28-30. Note: This event will also include the “Girls Go to Mars” program with an additional GGTM patch.
