There’s more to Girl Scout cookies than what’s in the box. When a Girl Scout sells you cookies, she's building a lifetime of skills and confidence. She learns goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills and business ethics—aspects essential to leadership, to success and to life.
By putting her mind and energies to something, a Girl Scout can overcome any challenge. There are no limits. She can be anything. She can do anything.
Through product sales Girl Scouts earn money for troop activities which include community service, field trips to earn badges, resident and day camp and travel (for older girls). Both product sale programs are designed to help girls learn essential leadership skills.
During the cookie sale, local Girl Scouts ask their customers to purchase and donate cookies for various Gift of Caring projects. Operation Troop to Troop is the largest such project for Girl Scouts in this area. Along with the donated cookies, Girl Scouts have included handwritten “thank you” letters and posters of encouragement to our service men and women.

TROOP TO TROOP: Cookies purchased for donation are dispersed to various organizations throughout our council. All cookies are given to our service men and women. Operation Troop to Troop is just one of the ways that your support of Girl Scouts gives back to the community.
