We’re already experiencing great success!
The campaign goal for innovative program, technology and transportation for girls is $2M. To date we have raised $700K toward this effort. A portion of those dollars went into effect starting January 2010.
...Money has allowed us to:
• Expand popular programs to more regions in our council area• Provide more scholarships for girls needing financial assistance
• Provide transportation for girls to Girl Scout destinations such as Camp Four Echoes
• Expand marketing reach via radio, television, bus and newspaper advertising
• Increase participation in after-school and summer day camp
• Develop new program partnerships in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM)
