Cafe Mingle

What is it? An informal gathering for all Girl Scout members to mix and mingle, to get to know one another, share new ideas and experiences, learn about the numerous components of the Girl Scout program, enjoy coffee and ask questions of the “Mingle Masters” who will be on hand to talk with attendees.Coffee Cup Image

Time: Café Mingle will begin following the conclusion of the Annual Meeting

Location: Camp Four Echoes, Worley, Idaho

Cost: $12 (adult) and $10 (girl) before February 22;
$13 (girl) and $15 (adult) after February 22
Includes the Annual Meeting and lunch

Program Center
The Spokane Program Center is a safe and fun place for girls ages 5-17. Offering an after school program, holiday day camps (during school closures) and summer day camp, the Program Center offers unique opportunities to build friendships, learn new skills, create projects, and learn about people, places and things beyond everyday experiences. Even out-of-area troops can take advantage of the Program Center offerings with a stay in the adjacent hostel. To learn more, stop by!

Gold Awards
Did you know that a Girl Scout who has earned her Gold Award immediately rises one rank in any branch of the U.S. military? The Gold Award represents the highest achievement in Girl Scouts. Talk with Girl Scouts about their Gold Award projects and ask questions about each girl’s experience, her reason for choosing her project. Get inspired to earn your own, or help mentor a Girl Scout on her path to Gold!
EYH
Expanidng Your Horizons (EYH) engages girls in STEM (Science, Technology, Enginerring Math) through day-long regional conferences offering girls the opportunity to explore these challening fields through fun and exciting hands-on learning.
First Lego League
Love science and technology? How about math and engineering? A robotics program may be for you! Girl Scouts of the United States (GSUSA) has partnered with FIRST® to offer council program opportunities in our area. The mission of the FIRST® program is “to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.” Stop by to see a troop demonstrate their robot skills!

Girl Guides
