As a volunteer, you'll introduce girls to new experiences that show them
they're capable of more than they ever imagined.
You'll be their cheerleader, guide, and mentor, helping them develop skills
and confidence that will last long after the meeting is over. Imagine the smiles,
the excitement, the memories made–those are the moments you'll share
at Girl Scouts.
Be the role model she'll always remember. Start today.
Give a little and gain a lot! Girl Scouts Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho is seeking adults to assist our staff with Girl Scout programs throughout our region. Give some time to make a difference in the life of a girl. Time commitments are flexible according to program availability and your schedule.
Get ready to impact the life of some girls in your neighborhood and spend more quality time with your own Girl Scout. If you don't have girls involved in Girl Scouting, there are many ways to positively impact the lives of local girls. We need adults to teach girls about the value of having courage, confidence and character in a fun and meaningful environment. You can start a NEW Girl Scout troop in your neighborhood and decide the time, day and location of troop meetings with the help of your area volunteer coordinator. We provide the training, resources and program and you get to work with the girls!
We host several events throughout the year. These include Community Leadership Lunch/Breakfast events in Spokane, Tri-Cities, Yakima, Sandpoint and Coeur d’Alene. We also host an annual Women’s Weekend spa and pampering event at Camp Four Echoes at Lake Coeur d’Alene. We are looking for table hosts and committee members for the Community Leadership Events and committee members for Women’s Weekend. These are all fundraising events and are designed to raise awareness and funds and celebrate the impact of Girl Scouting on girls and women today.
Product Sales Team members for the program year are needed. We hope to develop a strong team that helps support the two annual product sales and money earning opportunities for the girls and the council (Cookie Program and Fall Product Program).
All Volunteers are required to register and pass a background check.
