Our alumnae are living proof that what we teach today impacts the leaders of tomorrow. The statistics support the amazing Girl Scout Leadership Experience:

  • 80% of women business owners were Girl Scouts
  • 69% of female U.S. senators were Girl Scouts
  • 67% of female members of the House of Representatives were Girl Scouts

According to the Girl Scout Research Institute, alumnae credit Girl Scouts with preparing them to face life’s challenges and opportunities with resourcefulness, ingenuity and discipline. Many alumnae name teamwork among the most valuable skills gained through Girl Scouting as well as having the opportunity to try new things and make mistakes in a supportive environment.

The GSRI also notes that Girl Scout alumnae are more active in community service and volunteer work than are non-alumnae.  There’s no better time to reconnect with the world’s premier leadership organization for girls.
