EYH Chemistry

Girls mix things up at an EYH (Expanding Your Horizons) Conference which is part of our commitment to opening girls to the fields of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).

Girl Scouts of Eastern Washington & Northern Idaho services an area comprised of 20 counties in central and eastern Washington, and 10 counties in northern Idaho. Our council reaches from the Cascade Mountains to the Montana border, and from the Oregon border to Canada's border.

The council has regional field staff located in five locations: Coeur d’Alene, Lewiston and Sandpoint, Idaho, as well as, Tri-Cities and Yakima, Washington. The council is headquartered in Spokane, Washington.

The council serves approximately 8,000 girls and 2,500 adult volunteers. Girls are guided by committed, caring adults who make learning fun. No other activity helps girls achieve their personal leadership pathway like Girl Scouting. Girl Scouts has been the nation’s leading expert on girls since 1912!

Girls may participate in a traditional troop, as a “Juliette” (individual Girl Scouts), or by participating in one of our many other programs. Each option helps girls discover their potential while providing an empowering environment in which to flourish.

Through divserse and broad program, such as STEM (science, technology, enigineering and math), entrepreneurial (cookie sale), environmental stewardships, journeys (guided program books), destinations (travel opportunities), uniquely Me!, varied camping programs and MUCH MORE, Girl Scouts Eastern Washington & Northern Idaho is committed to discovering, celebrating and fostering the leader in EVERY girl!
